Imitation . . .
...is the sincerest form of flattery.
I am going to sincerely imitate The Bob this week for my regularly scheduled post. His most recent post said this, “It’s too hot to read newsletters right now” and I’m going to just go with that. You can not-read his weekly newsletter here:
This is basically all the reading you have to do—I had the good fortune to spend some found time in Maine this week. Actually, there was good fortune and not-so-good fortune. Angelo came up a day ahead of us and the car broke down on his way up so we had to leave it in town at a local mechanic. $1600 worth of broke-down, so we’re “stuck” on the island with only a golf cart to get around in. Poor us. ;)
The fortunate part as you may have guessed is that I’m here with Luca (Angelo had to take the not-broke-down car back to CT for some appointments). But we’re on an island in a lake with a golf cart. We’ll be just fine. Here are some of the ways we’ll be fine . . .
We’re good. See you next week!
Oh, wait. . . I am going to say one thing about what’s become my go-to topic and that is your grief is your grief. You don’t have to qualify, justify, limit or otherwise minimize the loss you are grieving. Nobody can possibly know the extent of the loss you are experiencing so please, if you do anything for yourself today, know that.
Okay…Cindy out. xo

Beautiful pictures! Enjoy Maine and Luca!
What a lame excuse for . . . living the life? Suck in the joy of life with your darling grandson, and take a dip for all those who are wilting on the vine. (Love you, kiddo!)
