Many hugs to you, Cindy. Writing of such deep loss is not easy, yet your words have spilled out so much love for your Annie and placed a memory of your love for each other in all of our hearts. I feel honored to have joined you on your journey of grief, memorial, and love.
Dear Cindy, thank you for sharing your Annie with us. And thank you for being so brave in your grief to do so! I cried when I read how you both signed off your texts with each other. “I love you so much.” My daughter-in-law and I do the same. It’s important to tell the people we love just how much we do. Sending love to you for all you have taught us about sharing our voice.
This is such a beautiful tribute to the love and life of Annie. Love knows no barriers of time and space. With each memory and story you share, you bring that love to life yet again and expand it. Thank you for sharing your heart especially while it is so tender and vulnerable. It also shows your strength and grace. Loss of loved one is never easy. Loss of a child is something you don't "get over". I watched my mom after my brother died. My wish for you through all of this is grace to feel the emotions and friends/family to hold you when the feelings feel too raw. May love guide you through these moments. Keep sharing please.
I love your words. It makes me sad to hear about a young life gone. She fought so hard to live. I lost my mom ,dad and 2 sisters . I miss them every day. Birthdays are the hardest but the years go by and the sadness is still there.
Please write about Luca and how he is doing. Love to my teacher and all you've taught me.
"This task required me to look at a life that had a beginning and an end." 😳 Had to remember to breathe there. I hope your memories lift you up today ❤️
Dearest Cindy, I’m out walking and tearily reading this love letter to beautiful Annie. Thank you for once again sharing your beloved girl—and the depths of your love and grief for her—with us. I’ve come to this obvious realization: Annie is simply too wonderful not to share. Sending much love on her special day to you and Angelo (be well, sir!), to Tony and Luca, and to all who #LoveAnnie
