Cindy, I can not get through your posts about Annie, and your personal and profound grief over her loss, without tears. Thank you for sharing this heartbreaking journey of yours with us, so eloquently. Annie’s tree is beautiful.
Your pieces about Annie are so beautiful, Cindy. I hope they bring you comfort to write because they certainly reach out and touch so many people. Your wisdom and your love and generosity in sharing these moments with us mean so much. There are not many people who can do what you do. Thank you very, very much. And I love Annie’s tree!!
So beautiful. My heart aches for you but also soars at the deep and profound love. When my mom died in 2019 we used Science Care, and they sent us her ashes a couple weeks later, then we got an email that a tree had been planted in her memory, in Africa. I just got an update on the tree a few weeks ago. ❤️
Your beautiful writing holds so much wisdom about loss and grief and last moments, while clearly your pain underlines each story, each word. You have the wonderful ability to bring forth so many universal wisdoms about loss while sharing your deeply personal story. Thank you. ❤️
You probably remember the “first” things you did with Annie too - hopefully, those memories provide you with warmth.
I remember all of it ♥️
How beautiful that Annie’s ashes will forever be in your favorite spots. It’s so beautiful at dusk.
Cindy,
You’re such a strong person. I hope that writing about Annie brings you close to her in a very memorable way.

We will be able to sit with her when we're in Maine, which I'm really grateful for.
I could not finish this. I can’t. It is too hard. But I will. ❤️
Do what you can do. It's enough that you let me know you saw it. ♥️
Beautiful, from your heart. I love that Annie will always be at your home in Maine.... 💔♥️
Thank you. I love it, too. ♥️
Cindy, this is just achingly beautiful and heart wrenching.
Thank you, Chloé. ♥️
